Found damage to my front plastic trim piece today but never felt a scrape or noticed anything before. Does it look like a scraped over a curb? I'd just like to rule out the possibility that someone backed into me. It looks like it ripped the lower slat on the grill that is in front of the radiator. Is this one piece, and is there a part number for this? It looks like it's held together with plastic plugs. Automotive exterior Bumper Vehicle Car Tire

It could have been done by a tow bar when someone backed into your parked car.
There is white paint scuff on the top side of the skirt.

When this happened, someone knew. It was not subtle.

I may have to live with the mystery. I've scraped over a few curbs in the past, but nothing major, and the first owner had the car much longer than I. I appreciate the info on the part. I'll be ordering the lower bumper cover as well as the lower front grille. Should be an easy swap.

you could fix 90% of it by just snapping it back together. Where it's cracked if you pulled the bumper you could probably use a soldering iron to melt it together and make an invisible repair.

It really a question of do you have the tools and time.
