A few months ago someone bumped the right front bumper on my volt and as far as i can tell everything is fine, (" dealer put it on a ramp and "inspected" ) basically look at the screws most likely the only odd part is it seems of the clips i presume just underneath the headlight may have popped out.

Does anyone know what the clips may look like i am still deciding between taking 750$ and fixing the minor paint scratches myself or getting the person to pay for the full repair, the concern would be if the bumper clips may have been broken will it go back on once removed?

The actual bumper looks to be out about 1mm more then left side and it charges fine no real issues other then the one clip clicking when you push on it.

Do you all think it will just pop back in or is this something that the hidden damage could cause issues later on if i ever have to take the bumper off.

Left bumper slightly out at clip may be within spec?

Well, I think the clip is molded into the plastic and hooks onto a "barb" on the fender. So likely the plastic part has broken. Pretty common on bumper covers. So, the only perfect fix would probably be to replace the cover and paint. Your call of course, but I'd be tempted to buff out the scratches and pocket the money.

Was looking for more then one opinion and a video of re-assembly or directions for later reference.

Voganni's answer provided the initial insight needed as to what may be broken on the inside but still would like a visual.
