Luckily I'm close to the only LI dealer who is discounting the Bolt... almost $3K off MSRP and they gave me the $2K NYS Point of Sale rebate... so it's close to $5K off MSRP

I was a bit hesitant at first, I got everything in writing... but in the end- I paid exactly what they (Chevrolet 112) had advertised on their website. No tricks or issues at all.

I guess they actually want to sell Bolts vs. the "Full MSRP only" local dealers who just want to show but not sell Bolts. My salesperson Jared, told me they will continue to discount Bolts.. they have more on order too.

This is one good thing about the dealership model. It really functions as a meritocracy when it comes to EVs. If you push EVs and EV sales, GM will send you more EVs while your competitors sit around with the same units gathering dust.

Any chance of getting the name of the dealer? I just tried a dealer in MA today that apparently wanted to show the cars and not sell them.

There is a link to the dealership in post #7, but it's chevrolet112.com, my link starts off with their Bolt inventory if you click on in in post #7. You can't buy the red one though.. that's my car- they haven't removed it from the website yet
