The 2017 Bolt has the mysterious K56 module already. I wouldn't get too excited though. The salesman explains that GM under Mary Barra is ultraconservative when it comes to safety (liability), anything related to changing the car part of the car is going to be done by service where there is ironclad documentation of what, who, and when. The fluff part (infotainment), that's already being OTA'd.

That's no joke. Bolt in L can have vertigo inducing regen if you aren't anticipating it. If I don't specifically need the one pedal mode, I leave mine in D and use the brake. Coming down from high speed on an off ramp I might blip the paddle a few times."Motion sickness - For real. Apparently caused by regenerative braking. Turned it down to LOW to get used it slowly." I agree I no longer drive in LOW if my wife is in the car, she says it makes her car sick. I guess its the constant undulations as you try to match the cars braking to where you want end up when coming to a stop. I now just drive with the brake pedal and all is well and I'm sure I'm not leaving any electrons on the table.
Back with my Gen I Volt, there were a few times where driving L and Sport mode got my foot and road in undamped harmonic coupling with a washboard road. Very strange.
