For those new owners on the left coast, were you able to use your GM Card earnings to purchase your Bolt? Is GM not allowing us to use our earnings or is it just dealers not allowing?
My dealer redeemed my GM card earnings, then later came back and said they could not get it approved by GM.
After some back and forth, they said they would cut me a check equal to my GM card earnings. Still waiting for that check though.
If you have the old card you would be able to use all of your GM Points on the Bolt EV.. I am looking at the advertisement GM sent me for the the additional up to $1,500 in bonus earnings and it lists the Bolt EV as eligible.
I am not a current owner of a Bolt EV but looking at my GM Card advertisement that I got in the mail a couple days ago. It says the Bolt EV is eligible for GM Card earnings and the $1,500 bonus earnings program that is going on right now. I have the original card though. So that would be a max of $5,000 ($3,500 plus the $1,500 bonus).
congratulations to Bro1999 on receiving his Bolt all the way from CA! Spoke with Chevy today, and they said that all current and older cards are eligible to use their GM card earnings to purchase the Bolt.
