This morning when I got to work I parked and pressed the Power button to shut off the car. In the center DIC I see a message I have not seen before.

It had a picture of the power icon circle with the line at the 12 O'clock position and the message read AUTO SHUT DOWN. The car powered off normally.

I searched my owners manual and couldn't find anything about this message.

Was I seeing things or is this a new message?

Thanks

Yup, oh and the message actually read's "AUTO OFF". I have NEVER seen this before.

BTW, my Volt was built in June 2016 and placed into service on Aug 16th 2016, so I replaced the FOB's batteries just in case that was the issue.

Guess I'll keep an eye on it and see if that doesn't fix it.
