Hi. I'm looking for the first owner of 1G1RD6E41DU123078. From what I know, I am the 4th owner now. This car (now named voltemort) was in an accident back in 2014. I want to know what happened. My carfax just says "Involving multiple impact areas with another motor vehicle" and I can't find anything else online. From looking through the car I have a few ideas of what happened but nothing really conclusive. I know that the passenger door was replaced and trim around it was likely replaced as well, and I have a feeling something happened in the back because it is misaligned a little bit and wiggles a little. I got the car in October and I've been curious ever since I got it.
I can tell whoever owned the car first cared, 90% EV on voltstats and one of 2 in Eden Prairie. The car made its way over to Wisconsin at some point but now it's in Shakopee. Not a super great EV % at the moment because I have only owned it during the colder months.
The battery seems about right, maybe slightly degraded but back when I ran it down "fully" in October I got 10.something kwh, but I have to test again when it's warmer out.
I'm so picky so I find a whopping 2 things to be slightly annoyed by and those are: 1. passenger mirror turn signal is loose and wiggles. 2. rear bumper wiggles and is misaligned. Both fairly minor things. I'm coming up on 90k miles and I'm getting a trans fluid change
Other than those two things and a few cosmetic imperfections, it's still running strong as ever @89k miles with 0 messages and nothing that I have had to do so far except for a steering shaft lubrication.
