Exactly 20 years ago, the first EV1s were delivered to customers in SoCal.

I was wondering if the first Bolts would be delivered on Dec 5, 2016, but I guess GM didn't want to directly tie the Bolt with the anniversary of a vehicle it ended up taking to a remote desert to be crushed.

First batch of Bolts are reported on the way to CA/OR, so customers should be taking delivery in the next 2-3 weeks!

If you figure the first retail Bolts loaded on the train last Friday, and it takes 2-3 weeks for shipping from MI to CA/OR, that puts Bolts arriving at dealerships anywhere between 17-24 Dec. Definitely by Xmas though.

Today is also the day, one year ago, that Chelsea Sexton (of Who Killed the Electric Car), called out GM's Mark Reuss on FB, to ask if he'd have Bolt first deliveries today, on that very anniversary.
