My favorite characteristic is the smooth shiftless acceleration through and out of a slow corner from stop or almost stopped.

So far, so GREAT! New 2017 Volt owner getting used to this concept. Such a smooth and quiet ride as compared to my GMC truck... Anyway, looking forward to the experience and this forum!
