Hey everyone, I have been waiting for this day for over 4 years. I followed the Volt from the very beginning when it was just a concept car. The Volt is replacing my 1996 Pontiac Firebird Formula (V8 350 LT1) car. Even though I have loved my Firebird and have had it for 10 years this car is way more fun. The instant torque is awesome. I can't say enough. I had extremely high expectations for this car and it blew them away. I absolutely love it. There might be a problem having only one Volt though because the wife likes it almost as much.

If you are interested in seeing how my Volt got to me check out this google map: http://g.co/maps/3ufx3

Congrats on your car. I see we have another red one! That is one very popular color lately.

After such a long wait you'll enjoy it even more. Love the sign BTW. Nice touch.

Watch out!! I had my Volt less than month when my wife announced it was now her car and I had to order one for myself (I did).
Both of ours have been 100% trouble free.
2011-02499 White "EPOWER"

Ah, that beautiful red....she's a beauty.........another great Volt in Florida....and I remember back a year ago when there was only 3 of us...how times have changed ! I see from the map you bought it from a dealer in Jax.......any particular reason for that ?
Enjoy our great Florida winter driving weather ( even though it can actually get fairly cold up your way at times )
Happy Holidays

Dealership in Tallahassee wanted several thousand over MSRP and were actually pretty rude. Went to Jacksonville and it was the complete opposite. They were very nice and took great care of me.

I hear ya.....smart choice! I also bought mine long distance ( out of state ) for two reasons. #1 knowing quite well how much the local south Florida dealers like to mark up their "hot selling" cars, and, #2 that Volts were not available in Florida for many months to come.

Thanks everyone.

The positive feedback on the car is amazing. I guess seeing it in person is way better than pictures or videos. I'm famous at work now because everyone knows I have a Volt. People that I rarely talk to are visiting my office shaking my hand. You would think I am saving the world. Of course being in an IT shop helps that because we all love technology.
