F-pace, i-pace, now e-pace - what is jaguar thinking?

The f-pace is already in the wild, a nice CUV/SUV platform with an ICE in it. Then they introduced the i-pace concept which is all electric. Now they introduce the E-pace which is a compact CUV with an icer. Talk about confusing branding.

I think it's OK naming. The Germans and now Cadillac have gone with letters and numbers. It does make is simpler. This is a riff in that the last four letters gives you the body style. Granted you have to know what the beginning letter stands for, which is not ideal, but the convention isn't devoid of reason or impossible to follow.

I'm keeping my eye on the Volvo XC90. If they could get it's all electric range above 50 miles I'd be tempted to sell both my 2017 GMC Acadia and Volt and could easily live with that ONE vehicle.
I can see the attraction of getting rid of a vehicle. Perhaps the Cadillac XT4 will be large enough? The electric range should be low 30s. Supposedly it's not that much smaller than the XT5.
