I wasn't a huge fan of the Gen1 Volt looks but thought it still looked better than any generation Prius...I like the look of the Gen2 Volt so it definitely looks better than the Gen1...I think the Prime looks below average but the current Gen non-Prime Prius is the worst...However, just because it looks better doesn't automatically qualify you for more dates...Plus if you have an unattractive green car as your main commuter, you can score some dates by having a cool second car...

There was one time I saw a murdered out Prius with lowered springs.....I almost went "Hey, that's a cool looking Prius"....then I caught my self and remembered it was a Prius.

That someone would do this to a Prius is beyond hilarious. There was no way to stop the 'groan' every time you accelerated with it, so why give it a tricked out look when performance is what it is.

I mean, I loved my 2006, put 250,000km on it over 10 years, and not a single repair. NOT ONE. But I wasn't driving the car for 'quick off the line' or to turn heads.

Yep, that Prius I saw was completely blacked out (hence the murdered out term) with limo tint, black rims...everything.

I saw my first 2 Prius Primes in the wild today....all I can say that is nice is that it isn't quite as ugly as the standard Prius.

That ain't saying much though. Sorta like comparing 2 piles of crap and picking which pile looks less disgusting.

Seriously, I don't understand what the Toyota designers are smoking (possibly piles of crap?). Mirai is HORRENDOUS, but they decide that all their other cars will adopt the Mirai's styling cues???

Then the Gen 4 Prius....holy god, it's like it fell out of the ugly tree, hit every branch on the way down, then fell into the ugly bush.

The Prime is like they slapped some bandaids on the ugly tree Prius to hide the worst parts. The Prius used to be a symbol of green. Now it's just a symbol of UGLY.
