After 2 months I notices mine getting a little more difficult in insert. I coated the surfaces of the plug with a very thin coat of silicone dielectric contact grease. It now works great. I did not coat the electrical contacts.
EVSE Not Smooth
I use the included EVSE daily and it is difficult to insert and remove and isn’t getting any easier. Looking at it, I don’t see anything obvious that could be causing this. Removing it is usually harder than inserting it.
I’ve used several charging stations, as well as my father’s EVSE, which came with his 2013 Volt and they all go on much smoother and come off easier.
Anyone else that uses theirs regularly experiencing the same thing?
