I use the included EVSE daily and it is difficult to insert and remove and isn’t getting any easier. Looking at it, I don’t see anything obvious that could be causing this. Removing it is usually harder than inserting it.
I’ve used several charging stations, as well as my father’s EVSE, which came with his 2013 Volt and they all go on much smoother and come off easier.
Anyone else that uses theirs regularly experiencing the same thing?
Worst case, some very fine grit sandpaper on the EVSE exterior may knock it down enough to ease the mating process. However, some Gen 1 owners experienced the same issue and it went away with use over time (6 months?).
