Ummm, I can't for the life of me figure out how to get the xm saved stations to list the actual station name and not the number. I know my MY13 volt was able to do it so I imagine there's a setting on the ELR. PLEASE don't tell me that it is not possible.
Oh can't dim the CUE display..ok no biggie. Love the auto windshield wipers and high beams. My 6 yr old doesn't like the car but I told him to suck it up, when he grows up he can make the decisions.

And the treat,

Obligatory picture at Disney World. Nice little secret about EV's..... great parking in many places. Here at Disney, literally in the handicapped section right next to the entrance to Disney Vehicle Car Wheel Automotive wheel system Subcompact car
Vehicle Motorcycle Automotive tire Wheel Spoke
Vehicle Bicycle wheel Automotive exterior Road Wheel

I don't know a way to make it show names instead of XM##. I gave up on it a long time ago, it's as bad or worse than FM. Went to a usb stick or bluetooth and haven't looked back.

Edit, went looking. The only way to do it is to go into settings ( home button on radio, gear settings ) and manage favorites and manually rename each preset.

The radio will dim with the gauges, use the slider on the dash.

Well aware of the EV parking. It's great. The crowds, not so much. Wife was there all weekend for the marathons.

We went to DisneyWorld in September. Between the heat, the crowds, and the noise it wasn't a very relaxing time. And I kept saying, "Why aren't all these kids in school?!!!"

We went in April. Happened to be "school break" in England. Every fourth person was a Brit. Advice to visiting Disney World. Go early before the gates are open. Go immediately to the most popular rides when lines are shorter, leave the less popular stuff for later in the day when most people are there. Stay late to catch the closing show and fire works (this was the millennial year 2,000). Rest the next day for a break, take in a relaxing day at the flea markets.

My best trip to Disney EVAR was the day hurricane Charley was expected to hit. We had planned to go anyways and I sat up at 5am until they announced whether they were going to close or not, as it had never been closed before. They said opening, and we hit the road. I have never ever gone into the Magic Kingdom and not seen a single person save for the employees. There was literally a photographer and a ballon guy and us on all of main street all the way to the castle.

We did every single ride, many the employees let us stay on and go around again, we got free food and were able to do all 4 parks and every single ride before 2 pm. Around noon some people started coming in while we were in animal kingdom and then it started to get bands and we got out. I drove through the eye of the hurricane down the turnpike, got 2 miles of peace, followed by the reverse of the winds back to the other side, it was unreal. Also the turnpike was deserted and the tolls were free.

Best day going to the mouse trap I've ever had.

There is a manual way to name the presets on 2014 ELR. It's buried in settings somewhere. My 2017 CT6 seems to name the XM channels automagically. Like 'The Bridge'.

I've also noticed that when I leave for the morning the XM stations don't output sound. They seem to work after I hit a local FM station button and then I click of the XM stations and they work fine.
