I was thinking about trading in my 16 Volt for a Bolt. I have 11 months left on my lease through GM. Anyone have experience or input on if this is possible and if it would be worth it or not. Thanks

You might consider putting your Volt up for someone to take over your lease. Swapalease.com is a site where you can list your Volt. There are always people around who are looking for something to tide them over until whatever they truly intend on waiting to buy becomes available - Model 3 for example....

Then when you are free of the Volt, get the Bolt. I've got one and it is a great car.

The early ‘13 Volt lease buy-out to get my ELR was very expensive. Might be best to see if you can negotiate a Bolt lease instead of purchase. The lease trades seem to go smoother and less money.

My daughter leases Toyota’s and they always call her early to trade. She drives less than 6k-miles per year, so, that residual number is her friend.

Call your lease company and ask them for information on early release. I turned mine in 1 year early with Alley and they gave me a good deal on the early turn in.
