Very often, the pop sound when opening and closing the door is due to a faulty door check assembly. Replacing the door check is the usual solution.
Door popping noise
I have a popping noise when I open/close the driver side door. I tried spraying some WD40 on it but that actually made it worse. Anyone else have this issue and fixed it?
