I just picked up my 2018 yesterday. I hadn't owned it for 4 hours before the Rustoleum Peel Coat came out...

Unfortunately I'm getting some false positives on the forward parking sensor and I'm wondering if it's because of the coat. I figured the parking sensors were below but perhaps there's another for directly forward behind the ACC bowtie? ACC itself works flawlessly. It would be too bad if I had to peel it off, I dig the look, particularly because the front bowtie is invisible now.

I'm pretty sure the ACC radar transceiver is located behind the lower beige part of the grille. On a non-ACC Volt the lower grille has a faux chrome finish. Disclosure, I have a 2017 Premier with ACC.

Maybe both parts of the grill are changed if the Volt has ACC. All of the ACC Volts I have seen have the beige lower grille. You can look at a photo of the front grille of a Volt and determine if the car has ACC.

To close the loop on this for people who find the thread on this in the future.

Avoid Rustoleum Peel Coat at all costs. It lasted about 24 hours before breaking down (see the attached photo).

The parking sensor issue was my front license plate, apparently it needs to sit 100% flush on all sides of the bracket. I took it off and banged it back into shape with a hammer.
