Last night around 9:45PM I plugged my car in to a level 2 EVSE, with a completely depleted battery, set to delayed charging (rate/time). I do this on a regular basis, and both the car and the app always show estimated completion of 5AM. Last night it showed an estimated completion time of 12:30AM, but it was delaying the charge properly. Even if charging started immediately, there is no way it would have fully charged by 12:30AM.

I believe it actually worked properly (starting at 12:30AM, not completing by 12:30AM), so that's good. It seems it was confusing estimated START time versus when the charge would be complete. The app just reflected what the car stated (as it should). One other point, it did switch between 12:30AM and 12:45AM as I did unplug it for 5 minutes, and started over.

Anyone else ever experience this? I'm not too concerned as it did work out fine and the battery is in fact fully charged.

Same thing happening tonight, estimated completion time of 12:15AM when it always finishes at 5AM. Strange, not accurate...again, it will probably start charging at that time, not complete. Shows the same on the app and also on the DIC.

No one else has ever seen this? TIA

Is it set to charge the earliest possible maybe? You can set earliest or latest according to your set TOU hydro rates.
Thanks for the response. I'm very familiar with the charging options, time of completion. Regardless of which option you choose, you should be seeing the time of completion, not when it starts to charge or any other random time. It's happened consistently since I first posted, but seems to be starting/stopping as usual, completing at 5AM. It's definitely a glitch, something in the software I guess.

Since it seems to be performing correctly, I'm not too concerned about this error. It is something that should be corrected, and I'm surprised I seem to be the only one experiencing it but I see much, much worse problems out on these boards so I'm not going to worry about a cosmetic problem.
