Wednesday, Dec. 28th, I receive this advertisement by mail claiming my local Chevy Dealer has the largest selection of Bolts in Orange County!

So I run over there on Friday and ask to see the new Bolt and they say 'we don't have any'....

Very common Chevy dealer technique - false advertise they have Bolts in stock hoping when you show up you change your mind and drive out with loaded $60k Silverado - very similar cars .

I think there are better dealers in the So Cal area for you to try and work with. That's amazing they would send that out with not a single one on their lot, but some dealers have no problem doing what they think they have to do it seems.

I missed the part of the ad that said they had them in stock . They probably mean they have the largest selection on order.

Being in TX, when I was looking for my 2014, I would actually call the dealer to ask if they had any to look at. One dealer said Yes, come on over. So I did. The only Volt they had to look at was in the brochure.

Well, if they have zero in stock, and everyone else has zero in stock, then technically they do have the largest (and smallest) selection in the county.

I couldn't blame the dealers fully. Sometimes, you plan ahead, advertised ahead, then bad weather delayed the delivery of your ordered items... And you've got nothing to show after the ads were distributed and you can't retract them.
