That is the largest factory rebate offered on the Bolt EV to date. The way it's worded, I *believe* the $1,500 loyalty money is eligible on a lease as well.

Speaking of leases, those in CA/OR/Northeast are eligible for 36 month/15k mile leases for just $299/month and $502 down (plus taxes and fees). I bet even better deals can be had with some haggling...and if you qualify for the loyalty money, there's another $42 off the monthly.

Still, it's really far away from that Cruze lease deal you found, some trax deals that people can get, and even sub $200 volt deals people are finding. A year or two from now, we'll see if GM does a major price drop like they did with gen1 volts in aug 2013. Just realize, as easy as they can take $1500 off the top of the lease, they can bury $1500 in fees and interest in the money factor and cost of capital. unwrap the lease to understand every knob they have to twist before you pull the trigger.

So for CARB state residents, the following incentives should be available:
- $3,250 CCR (basically CARB lease cash)
- $1,250 lease cash
- $1,500 lease loyalty cash (for current GM lessees)
- $1k private offer (for those that received it. I just got an email today reminding me I have one)

So potentially $7k in lease incentives. Then toss in a 3-4k dealer discount on top, you're looking at up to $11k in total incentives/discounts on a lease. And in MD a Bolt is eligible for a $3k state EV rebate, so that bumps the total possible incentives to $14k.

By my math, someone could lease a barebones Bolt LT for $0 down, $257/month for 36 months/10k miles a year in MD. Which would equal $215/month after factoring the $3k MD rebate. Almost tempting to see if the math would work to consider flipping a Bolt. Of course I no longer have a GM lease, so that would gum up the flipping math.

For this to make any kind of $$$ sense, I would need to start a LLC (I've already used up my eligibility for the MD EV rebate as an individual), but companies are eligible for up to 10 state rebates for EVs.

I have a question about the GM lease loyalty cash. The dealership stated that the car must be financed through GM, Ally or US Bank. I can't remember what bank my dealership used when I leased my Volt but I pay through the GM financial website. Silly question - if I pay through the GM financial website, is there still a concern that my lease could be funded by another bank than the three listed?
