Loving the car, not a big fan of GM though, I'm hoping to hook up with Holden/Opel/Vauxhall owners

Hmm, don't think you're going to find too many Holden/Opel/Vauxhall owners in the U.S.

Welcome to the forum. Am sure you will find your Volt to be a wonderful car. I have had 2 with no maintenance in 3 years of ownership each, and now have a wonderful 2017. They are the best cars i have ever had,

GM/Chevy did a wonderful engineering job on these in spite of older transgressions

I love the car, though since I am coming from a much older car (early 90s) I have to get used to all new the computerized "gizmos" (gawd I hate that term)... loving the fact that I can play music off a USB thumbdrive, have keyless entry/start/etc (though it took me some time to find the settings and get passive lock/unlock set to my liking), backup camera, etc etc
