I apologize if I'm not the first guy to discover this but I haven't seen it posted and didn't find it with a search. I was annoyed at my 12 Ga. 50 foot cord (which I picked up at Frys when I walked by it and saw it was only $26) sliding around in the hatch.

When I was messing with the fuse panel measuring some power consumption I realized it stows perfectly in the drives side fuse access area and amazingly leaves full access to the fuses right through the middle of the cord.

Problem solved. See below.

Nice. I could have used that tonight. I was at a EV club and wanted to get a little extra charge for demos. I just had to park at an awkward angle to reach the outlet with the standard 120v L1.

Love it. Very clever. Always there, but out of sight.

That's where I store my coil of 4 gauge wires for hooking up an inverter if/when needed during a power outage. I agree it's a handy compartment! :)

Thanks for the suggestion. I went out and put my 25 foot 12 gauge extension cord in there. (My 50 foot cord is on a cord reel.)
