Thought I'd share a pic of the center console controls on the 2013 with nav from my owners manual:
photo.jpg

Comparing it to the owners manual from the 2012:
1. Top row is the same
2. Fav button is replaced with Phone on 2013
3. Tone button is replaced with Info on 2013
4. Radio/Band is replaced with Home on 2013
5. HDD/DVD/Aux is replaced with Source on 2013
6. Back and Config buttons are the same
7. AS 1-2 is replaced with Nav on 2013
8. Seek buttons are the same
9. Phone/Mute is replaced with As 1-2 on 2013
10. RPT is replaced with Dest on 2013
11. Info is replaced with Rpt on 2013
12. Play/Pause and TP are the same
13. 2013 doesn't have the bottom row of buttons (no Rec or Del)

So it looks like some buttons were shifted around, some were combined, and some were removed. The ones removed are Fav, Tone, Rec, Del. I like having a Home button and think it was good to combine the Radio and HDD buttons into a single Source button. I still think it's a waste having the TP and AS 1-2 buttons. How often are those features really used? I would think they should just be accessed through Config.

Hope you guys find this helpful/useful!

WOW, I'd hate to own two Volts with different locations for these functions. You could have to take your eyes off the road for more than a couple of seconds to find something.

It's not unlike my home computer set-up, I have a iMac and a Dell PC. Talk about fumbling around just to do basic tasks. My wife says I need to just go with ONE system as she hates the differences even more than I do. Guess it's time to choose.
