i haven't used my car in 2 weeks or so (i have 2 vehicles). so the battery doesn't die- would you think starting it with the remote start is the same as physically being in the car and starting it? just don't want dead battery with the cold weather rolling in!

If its a 2013 or newer the car will maintain the 12v battery at 13 volts when plugged in. Best to leave Volts plugged in if they won't be driven for up to a month.
