I have a 2016 and a level 2 EVSE.

I would like to know what settings are best to have the least possible effect on the state of charge after a 10 minute cold morning precondition while plugged in. I would like to set it such that the heater uses no more than what it will draw from the EVSE, if possible.

My goal is to melt the thin layer of frost on the windshield and back window. (I used to just scrap it, but I recently injured my hand so I won't be doing that for a couple of months).

If anyone has tried this, I would appreciate your posting the settings you used and how they worked for you.
