New Volt owner here. So I have a remote start/climate control issue. When starting the car, the climate control starts after only about 1-2 minutes of driving.
When using remote start via phone app or FOB, the lights on the car turn on, I can hear the AC (assuming it's the AC) humming in the engine bay - BUT NO cold air is blowing when I get in.
Does anyone else have this problem? Fix?
Thanks in advance! Great forum!!!

The air temp during remote start is determined by the climate setting. Also, it may blow cold air at first if there is high humidity or high battery temperature.

Just for fun: Why wouldn't you want cold air in Florida?

From your description it is difficult to understand your issue. Is it:

1. The Climate Control starts only after 1-2 minutes of driving? or

2. After remote start the AC runs and blows cold air. (this would be normal)

Double check your climate settings, become familiar with how they work from the manual. See if you have the Climate Control set to "Auto".

Is it possible the air is being routed to an unexpected vent, like on the windshield, so it seem like there is no air (at the dash vents)? The auto vent control does switch around sometimes. Try manually selecting the vent setting and fan speed.

If the vent fan is just not running at all for a few minutes, and then starts after that, it does not sound normal. You can reboot the system by pulling fuse 5 in the fuse panel that is accessible when you open the driver's door. If that doesn't help, I think a Volt Technician should look at it.
