Talks about disruption in general but then jumps into batteries and electric cars... very good to watch. This video was done in March of this year and suggests that by 2020, electric cars will be cheaper then ICE cars for similar or better performance and by 2025, all new vehicles will be electric. This is presented with a good basis of facts.

Tony Seba has been around a while. I don't see how he can predict the future, but, that's his bag.

Kurzweil is doing the same thing with AI predictions.

If they're wrong, nobody remembers. If they're right, they can write more books.

One of the most interesting parts in the keynote is about solar power per kwh getting down to less than the price of transmission costs alone. That will be an interesting time and he suggests it is just around the corner.

The interesting thing to me is timing. Seba has gone from saying 2030 for "all new cars will be EVs" to 2025. That's only 8 years.

I see that Toyota has conceded the inevitability of EV disruption. Finally.
