Man, I wish the volt could handle 32A. If the Pacifica handles it, I'd lean towards getting a higher capacity EVSE over doing any sort of permanent mod to the factory one. But, if a pigtail works, it doesn't hurt to have it with you just in case. That said, there's a standing order in my household that my family can shoot me if I ever buy a minivan. I'll rent one for an occasional family trip, but buying one means certain death.Might comment there even if it supports 240 V it will still be limited to 12 Amps (so 2.9 kw or so). This will be a lot slower than using a 240 V / 32 A station that the Pacifica supports, but is far better than 120 V.
