Someone set the rear door child locks on my '17 Volt and I couldn't figure out what they did. Since I was having trouble finding the answer in the manual or on-line, I thought I'd post the answer here.

The locks are on the rear doors themselves, on the black plastic molding, just behind the arm rest. The doors must be open (obviously) to set or clear the switch. Thanks to "canehdian" for fixing my image links.

Fixed your images - gotta link directly to the jpg, not the page housing it.

Interesting - another to the list of removed/reduced features.
In gen1, child lock is a button accessible from the driver's seat.

Yes, this is the way most cars have used this feature. Far more attractive than the Gen 1 cars with the rear door lock tied to the window lock button on the drivers armrest. A horribly inconvenient idea to tie these two together.
