Sort of, there is a tune that gives more power in mountain mode, but it only comes close to a a 2014 elr.

The other components like battery capacity are controlled by a separate ev canbus on a separate obdii

No one has programmed the EV side yet just the gas.

Has anyone done a conversion to trick the chevy volt into thinking its a ELR?

  1. Buy an ELR and a Volt.
  2. Strip the engine, battery, control modules, etc. from both cars.
  3. Install the ELR engine, battery, etc. into the Volt.

it is cheaper to go to www.badnewsracing.com
they have a tune for a chevy volt that sets it on fire
you get the tune and a cable to download it thru you're obd11 port
it getsw rid of the rev limiter, and it max's out your top end, and it increases your overall speed in the o to 60 sprint by a few seconds

I don't think that URL is correct.

a user here reported a tune from Waitforme Performance, but they all but disappeared. Actually not even all but. They disappeared.

I just got in contact with Jesse from wait4me Performance. Has anyone experience working with him? I want to go fast and not be on fire. He says it won't void warranty, but I'm not sure. If Replaced the ECM, flashed it tune. then replaced it if someone gets wrong with old Ecm would that make the car appear stock?

I've tried reaching out to him and never got a reply, so I never made it that far. It's worth a shot.

Yes, flashing the PCM will void the warranty. There is a flash counter in the software. The miles won't match up if you swap PCMs.
