Need some advice and possible $$ information. I'm trading in my 17 Volt for an 18 and was wanting to get the warranty but was looking for experienced opinions and what people may have paid. I have had two blow outs and had to replace both tires and wheel on one due to terrible Illinois roads. Black Friday specials with Chevy are offering 60 months complete coverage for $595.00 with zero deductible. Thanks for any thoughts...

Coverage for what? Flat tires? I'd save my money, but YMMV.

I think Discount will sell that warranty to you for like $25/tire. https://www.discounttire.com/customer-service/certificates

Heck, for less than $600 you can buy 4 new tires and stash them in your garage. Put the money saved in the bank to be used to install those tires someday.

My Volt has 7 -1/2 year and 97+k miles. No flats, no blow outs. My Bolt has 1-1/2 years and 15k miles, no flats, no blowouts.

Last time I had a flat on one of our cars was about 20 years ago. Obviously the roads in Cook, DuPage and Will county where I drive must be better then yours, or maybe it's a matter of luck.

Not looking for your examples of good luck in driving but factual information regarding GM warranty.
Factual information would help..... What does this warranty cover? Is it right from GM? Or the tire manufacturer? Sounds like a waste of money to me given GMs pain is the ass to get any type of warranty coverage and anything with wearable items is even worse.

Here's a fact. When you walk into a casino, you might win or you might lose but those palaces weren't build to make you rich. Same with extended warrantees.
