Charging text alerts: started coming 'out of the blue'

I have no idea why, but for the last two days I've been receiving "your Volt has completed charging" text alerts. I've searched the RemoteLink app, the myChevrolet app, and the my.chevrolet.com web pages for opt in/opt out settings but can't find a thing. Does anyone know where I can find the on/off 'switch' for these text messages?

There is a bug in the OnStar software and has happened to me twice. Their software is automatically opting me in to text messages.

This is illegal per the Telephone Consumer Protection Act of 1991 and violates it on several points.

I sent a very pointed letter to OnStar and I suggest you do the same. I heard back immediately and they created a case, but I haven't heard anything back yet.
My charge notifications suddenly stopped on October 2nd, and then just miraculously started up again 10 days later. I have no idea why.
This happens a lot, even with the email functionality. It's awesome.
