The switch may be the same, but I don't think there's a door actuator (3) in the 2013 model. The above diagram is from the 2012 Volt/Ampera service manual.

The service manual procedures don't mention any adjustment. I did wonder if dielectric grease might help, but how would one apply it to the switch contacts? Either way you're pulling the switch.

This assumes that the switch is the problem. Somms' post has other culprits listed.
