This just started with me last week.

I unplug, close the charging door, and start to drive off and within a second or two I get the "Charge Door Open" message on the dash.

Thinking I didn't close it all the way I stop, get out, and look. Nope, it's closed.
Push on it to make sure it's closed all the way. It is, but message persists.

Open the charge door and slap it shut. Error message goes away.

So, anyone know which sensor or switch I need to tackle to make this stop?

Follow up

I finally re-did the silicone treatment to keep the door from sticking shut, and at the same time went over all the surfaces with q-tips and compressed air. The issue has not re-occurred since I did that.

Grrrrr... it was good for a while, but here we go again with the "charge door open".
I'm going to try the cleanout and blowout with compressed air again, if that doesn't work I guess I make a service appointment.

What a stupid thing to have to spend money on.
