My dealer determined that the wall charger that came with my Volt was bad. That was a month ago and it hasn't come in yet.

Why does it take so long?

Why don't they take one from a car on the lot?

Why are you asking the forum? Maybe the EVSE is back ordered. What did the Chevrolet dealership's Service Manager tell you? The dealer should have provided you with a loaner EVSE until they receive the replacement EVSE for your Volt.
