I have a 2013 Base model Volt with ceramic white center console cover and steering wheel accents with jet black cloth seats. Is it possible to change to a more subdued look by replacing both with the dark accent pieces used with jet black leather seats that year? If it is possible, any idea (roughly) how expensive it might be?

I looked into the idea when I was car shopping with the intention of finding the needed pieces to change the color should I find the ideal car/deal, fortunately I found one with the dark accentssince I personally am not a fan of the white accents, which by the sounds of it you aren't either. Keep an eye on Ebay as they frequently have listings for the dark accent pieces. As for the steering wheel, I don't recall seeing that piece separate so someone else might be able to chime in, but the center stack (with buttons) usually ran about $300, the bezel around the shifter was usually around 50-75 and the DIC surround was, if I remember around 100. Although that sounds pricey, and it can be, just keep in mind that you could always sell your white accents on ebay to recoup some of the money. Unfortunately it seems white is more common to be found than the dark, so you might have to price it appropriately to sell it.

Edit to add: Make sure any center stack you look at has all the correct buttons for options you have (nav, heated seats, etc).

Thanks for the info, freshcut, that's exactly what I was looking for. Since Volts are so rare, I assume wrecking yards would probably not have parts. Ebay is your friend though. Are the prices you list dealer or eBay prices? Did you search by GM part numbers on eBay or use the generic terms like Volt center stack or shifter bezel? Any idea how hard they are to change?

Those are ebay prices that I've observed in the past. I used generic search terms on ebay such as center console, etc. As for changing, I'm not sure on the DIC bezel, but there is a write-up on how to change to a factory nav radio that gives a rundown on how to remove the center stack as well as a youtube video (another great source of info on stuff like this). I've taken the console trim piece off to clean what looked like a spill and it just snaps into place. I understand the center stack is similar but it does have two bolts at each lower corner that are hidden by the console bezel.
