We came from a Toyota prius, Ford Fusion energi, and now the volt. After test driving the prius prime, I agree with the article. Even with the new improvements, the prime feels disconnected from the road and still have some sway to it. The ride quality on the volt is much better. The prime has an mpg advantage, but that's because it they've tone down the acceleration quite a bit. It's definitely not a fun car to drive.
