Can anyone explain the Volte warranty coverage of "Brake Modulator Assembly"?

* Voltec warranty

Hello,

The dealer has just replaced both the Brake Pressure Modulator valve and the Electronic Brake Control Module ("all one piece" according to the dealer and both had to be replaced due to leak).

The Voltec warranty states :"VOLTEC COVERED :""Brake Modulator Assembly"" and yet they want to charge me $700 for the repair. I am at a loss and looking for help with this in any form?

I had zero help from Chevrolet customer service supervisor by the name of Corwin in CA who was rude and not even accurate or helpful (and he was the supervisor!?).

I have had a previous thread regarding the a brake fluid leak that went dangerously low.

Thank you everyone!

I personally had a 2012 Volt. The EBCM went out and I was told that it would NOT be covered under warranty if I was out of Bumper to Bumper (actually I had no worries as I was at 35,900 miles). I know these guys. They are good guys. Turns out they were surprised that when they entered the info that it was covered under the Voltec Warranty which of course is WAY beyond the bumper to bumper. I can only speak from that experience though.

Thank you for the reply I've been getting so many mixed messages from every one involved with Chevrolet that it is nice to just get a authentic answer. Thank you.
