^ NY Dep of Mot Vech. needed a cash infusion a few years back, so they changed from the white background w/blue letter plates to the ugly orange plates we have now. Eventually everyone has to get the new plates so increased $$ for DMV via "new plate fee". If you look back at old photos or movies filmed in NY in the 1960's... they used the same ugly orange plates we have now

How does she handle in the twisties?
Better than the Volt, but certainly not "go-cart" like handling.
I'm happy with it, minimal body roll around turns and good overall weight distribution/not light in rear.... good brakes too.

Better gripping tires would help out of the hole because the stock front tires spin (and maybe hop?) on hard acceleration and the tracking gets squirrely to the point of being dangerous in tight surroundings if you don't back off a bit.

FWIW- the best handling car I ever owned was the mid-engine Fiat X1/9.
It's was somewhat underpowered with a 1,300cc engine- but it went around corners like it was on rails with the engine literally sitting between the two large negative camber- sticky Pirelli rear tires.
