I have noticed a buzzing sound from the back of my 2017 Volt on two separate occasions. Each time the vehicle was parked in the garage at 60 degree ambient temperature. The vehicle had been sitting for 4 to 5 hours. I have researched this and could only find answers related to charging and pre conditioning. The vehicle wasn't being charged. Any ideas?

Most likely it was the gas tank pressurization. It will run from time to time.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a way to confirm this? Does this run often? Strange that it happened after sitting for four to five hours.

There is no on board indicator and it does not run often. All I have is the list put together on this forum about various sounds from the Volt.
