My guess is that the unveil showed off the overall concept, but not the actual production vehicle. According to the article, the concept shown is the "brand's new design language and serves as a template for future eco-friendly cars."

The other leaked images we've seen over the past few weeks could still very well be the car that will be delivered to market.

Hell, I would take the one pictured above over the Buick Volt! If I didn't already have a Volt.

More car porn that will not see production. "Hey, look at what we are not going to build!"

I hate to imagine how to clean those wheels! My Equinox has simple wheels and are easy to clean.

That is not far off. Voice controls exist now in many GM vehicles (my Equinox has it for the Bluetooth phone control). No need to even touch it or "swing" a foot near it (as for the Ford Escape and the Chrysler Pacifica) to open a door or hatch. And it is simpler that the Model S extending handles that tend to fail.

Maybe Velite isn't a Volt clone after all, could it be using Bolt DNA instead? You know, Bolt drivetrain and platform but with stylish sedan body and internal. If so, this could go up against the Model 3.

For this I will trade in my Volt. I say that to several car porn releases that never see the showroom floor.
