Is this a good leasing deal on a Bolt LT? Offer expires on 6/5/17.

Here is the link:

http://www.chevroletoffremont.com/Specials
Fine print from your link isn't crystal clear as it states:

"36 MONTH CLOSED END LEASE. $3,495 DUE FROM CUSTOMER AND $3,500 REBATE, FOR A TOTAL DRIVE OFF $6,995 PLUS TAX, TITLE AND LICENCSE FEES. ZERO SECURITY DEPOSIT."

So I'm reading it to be closer to $7500-$8000 down and then $149/mo + tax...

Since you are only leasing, not buying, the vehicle maybe you would not qualify for receiving the rebate. Maybe it is a CA legal disclosure requirement on all lease offerings. Ignoring the rebate, your first month out of pocket expense would be $149 + $3495 = $3644. I don't know how vehicle leasing works in CA; I live in Maryland.

"Rebate" can mean a dozen different things...It's very typical that dealer ads aren't remotely close to deals you can get...

I checked the lease hacker site, there's a fremont guy on there, Phil, no one is reporting a price like above...Lowest deals reported are total out the door leasing are about $12K for a pure base at $0 down and 36 months...We're still under May incentives until next week, they're not that strong...If $3495 + $1000 (est for TTL) $149 x 36 = we're just below $10K or the lowest deal reported...So it appears a $7Kish is required to get a $150ish monthly payment...

If you're looking to acquire a Bolt simply start emailing dealerships...

It seems the $3500 rebate is included in the down payment. Which means he pays tax on that. But what jcanoe needs to put towards the down is $3495.

Every $1000 in a lease is about $30/month. So $3495 down is equivalent to $105 a month additional in a payment not including tax.

So after all said and done, his payment would be around $275-280 a month as my estimate (if he put nothing down).

What's the Cap Cost offered by the dealer? What's the money factor? What are the fees associated with the lease? It doesn't seem like that great of a deal.

Forum sponsor for May/2 weeks ago (we're still under May numbers until next week):

$2500 "down" 239 plus tax on a MSRP 38245 (base with DCFC) = $11104 total cost before tax...He doesn't state if "$2500 down" includes TTL or not, but his payment amount doesn't have tax...Looks like it's over $12K total with TTL...

Even $0 out of pocket (crystal clear term vs "down" or "drive off") and $299.99/mo x 36 is $10,799.64...But IDK, perhaps Fremont is giving a huge discount on the sales price since they're like the number one Chevy EV dealer (that was where the first three Bolts were delivered) and it's still technically the end of month this weekend...If they're knocking out $5000+ off the sales price they could get you there I suppose...I just report what I've seen reported on here and lease hack site, perhaps someone from the main Bolt site has indeed got a lower deal, I just haven't seen it reported...

This was posted at the hacker site, same dealer:

MSRP: [$38,245]
Selling Price: [$34,445]
Rebates: [Chevrolet Select Market Incremental CCR $2,250, Chevrolet Lease Cash $1,250, Chevrolet Instant Value Cert $2,000]
Trade-in: [$0]

Months: [36]
Annual Mileage: [10,000]
MF: 0.0008
Residual: [61%]

Security Deposit: [$0]
Total Due At Signing: [$0]
Monthly Payment (Plus Tax): [$256.62]

Zip Code: [95136]
Sales Tax Rate: [9.25%]

So instead of "bonus tags" which technically have never been available for the Bolt, they're calling them instant value certs and it's fair generous at $2K off...Dealer is giving a $3800 discount and you get another $2K off...That puts this total lease at $9240 and this is before the $2500 CA incentives so lowest ever reported, good to see the incentives increasing...

That MF rate does not make sense, seems too low. 0.0008 * 2400 = 1.92%
