I got my TPW from my Bolt/Volt Advisor. Very excited. I should expect it in mid January based on that is what I'm thinking.

Just listed my Volt for sale today. Can't wait! I'll keep this thread open for updates and questions.

Wow really? First time I've heard a Canadian TPW in December. Maybe GM is ramping production faster than expected? If you get it in January maybe you can take a swing down to Kitchener Waterloo for some show and tell for our EV group?

I was surprised, but my dealer got me one of the first Stingray's when they were new too. GM allocates priority and certain amounts to specific dealerships. I expected sometime next year, and got a great surprise when I called my Bolt advisor for an update on an item.

Anyways, who knows from now until I get it in hand. Someone mentioned to me their 16 Volt was stuck in QC for 30 days when the car was new. Also, I'm sure I could bring it around for a showing for anyone interested.

UPDATE: Sad update but the week came and past. I was on GM chat all week asking for an update to confirm it went into production and couldn't get an answer. It was frustrating.

Then I finally got the news in email from my Bolt advisor that my car was moved to TPW of Jan 16th!!!!

I know there were 4 others my week who were supposed to be built in Canada, so I'm hoping they had theirs made and not everyones TPW was pushed back. I did change the exterior colour so maybe that was what caused mine.

UPDATE: After a long delay from GM (34 days I think) on my production pushback I got this news on GM Chat this morning.

"Your Chevrolet Bolt has been built and should be arriving at your dealership within the next 10 days approximately."

Time to trade in the Volt. I love the Volt, but I'm thrilled to go full electric.
Let's see if their estimation to the dealer is accurate and it's not held up for QC or anything else.

I think the Canadian Bolts will start hitting the streets up here this week. I know there were a few people who had their TPW early in January. :)

A friend of mine has an LT model on the way to Milton, Ontario. All the dealerships here indicate they will have their first deliveries within the next two weeks.

I've seen a couple on the road here in Ontario, but they are OSHAWA GM HEAD OFFICE vehicles, not dealership or regular customer vehicles yet.

In November I put down $1000 on a Bolt with Peninsula Chevrolet in Monterey, CA. Haven't heard a peep out of them since. You mention a "Bolt Advisor". What is that and should I have one? Also what is TPW mentioned in another post as having come from the advisor? I am concerned the dealer is a shyster. Can anyone advise me?

BIG UPDATE: WOW that was really quick, I was going in today to get my trade value on my Volt. Dealer texts me saying the Bolt just got off the truck! I'm going this afternoon to see my Bolt!

Your friend might be getting his sooner than the thinks like me! :)

This is exactly the same experience I had with my 2017 VOLT, about 24 hours after it was built, in Michigan USA, it was on the lot in Ontario, Canada. Their delivery logistics in around the Great Lakes is pretty impressive.
