Had my Bolt for little over a week, and just noticed that the large infotainment screen has a plastic screen protector on it. Pretty sure this came from the factory, and not sure if it should have been removed during dealer prep, or if it should be left on there intentionally. The touchscreen seems to work okay, except sometimes when going from Android Auto screen back to the Chevrolet screen, the screen will not change back when pressing the icon.

Anybody else have one of these? Remove or leave it? Will the screen work better without it?

I leave it on. Thus far, it hasn't interfered with using the interface, and it's an additional protection against scratches. If it starts to get smudged or loses clarity, I will remove it. But for now, I'm just leaving it in place.

Mine was also still on there and my wife noticed it, asked me whether to peel it off and I said sure... then halfway done thought the same thought as noted above and said "wait wait wait" but by that time it wouldn't go back on perfectly so I said OK well off it comes.

Why does this topic give me visions of living room couches covered in plastic?
