The service is called “Cruise Anywhere,” and it allows employees to use a smartphone app to get anywhere they need to go in SF, seven days a week.

Interesting update on GM/Cruise's autonomous vehicle efforts- here's where at least a few Bolts are going in the next months:

now if they would just put ACC on the 2018 Bolt I might seriously consider trading my 2013 Volt for that

Seems to be moving right along. Likely not as advanced as Google but ahead of the rest. Only a few human interventions have been needed but that needs to get to zero, and that may get tricky. You have to love the idea though. I can see many urban dwellers using this rather than having a car.

Thread probably would've have gotten more hits if you led with the ridesharing app beta test to summon an autonomous Bolt EV from anywhere in San Fran. That is epic, far beyond the limited geographic boundaries that Waymo is operating.

As for purchasing the Bolt, wait for the 2 year refresh.
