I'm not too sure why this started to happen, but all the calls (iPhone 6 Verizon) I get and answer in the car automatically transfer back to the phone. My co-worker has the same 2013 Volt with the same phone and carrier and his doesn't do that at all. I have removed the phone and paired it multiple times and still have this issue. Any thoughts?

I've gotten the exact opposite - I initiate a call on the phone (iPhone 6s Plus), and 30 seconds into the call, it auto transfer to the car. I hit the audio button on the phone to manually select the iPhone, and a minute or two later, it auto transfer back to the car again. Seems turning off the BT on the phone is the only solution.

This car is feeling more and more like an iPhone every day - I can only do what GM deems to be acceptable, and most of them just leave me thinking "WTF were they smoking when they made THAT decision!?!?!"

It's Apple's fault. Spoke to them about it a couple months ago. "They're working on it." Yes, a couple months ago. Must be a low priority.

Mine too. Been happening ever since iOS 10 was released.

I don't have this issue - I have an iPhone 7 Plus on T-Mobile - is this occurring only on Verizon?

One thing I have noticed is that it remembers what I did the previous time. For example, if I'm on a call using BT and then I switch to handset, the next time I get a call and accept it via the steering wheel controls, it's on the handset. I then transfer to BT/Chevy Volt and it stays there.

My calls go to the handset ever since iOS 10. Nothing I have tried will fix it. I can transfer back to the car if I hit the transfer button while in call (but not if I press it too quickly). Does your co-worker have iOS 10 installed on his phone? One forum user reported that the iOS 10.3 beta fixed it for him, but it did not fix for me. Everything was working flawlessly for me on iOS 9. Now I have this plus the phone is a little slower (iPhone 6).

Same problem here. iphone SE/Verizon. Other threads suggested the ios 10.3 update would fix it, but it didn't fix mine.
