I am having an issue with one of my lower front "parking lights". When the car is on the driver side is not lit, yet it still functions as a blinker. That must mean there is nothing wrong with the bulb? So I have a loose wire?

It sounds like your bulb is bad. There should be two filaments in the bulb. One acts as the parking light, comes on when lights are on and the other comes on when you engage the turn signal. Replace the bulb.

OP I STRONGLY recommend you look at this thread and watch the video before you try to replace the bulb. You'll save yourself some headaches.

When I went to the trouble of replacing those bulbs I put "switchback" LEDs in but you can just simply replace the bulb if you so desire.
