My new 2018 Volt is the Artic Silver with black trim and do not really like the "orange/gold" emblems on front and back. My dealer wants $155 to replace/cover them? Has anyone a less costly solution that looks professional as I see Amazon has some "stickers" but concerned with their final look.

I bought the BLACK front and back emblems, and replaced the front emblem by hand. You can search the various parts warehouses The front is very easy to swap out -- you just need to work carefully to pry it off without cracking the grill and use a tool to unsnap the back fasteners. It took me about 15 minutes of slow, careful work to ensure no damage. I got both emblems for $86, but you can likely find a better deal by shopping around.

The back emblem is a much more involved process and after looking into doing it, I decided I liked it well enough! I personally think the front is the more offensive one.

Go to your nearest sign store (Sign-a-Rama, etc.) and ask for a swatch of matte black 3M or equivalent black vinyl. Use a spray bottle to wet the surface, apply the rough-cut vinyl and squeegee out the water using a piece of plastic or anything with a sharp, straight edge. Allow to set up for awhile then final trim using an X-acto blade.
