The greater Toronto area has about 40 CCS sites (several with multiple plugs) on plugshare.
My small town of 12000 people has one dual CCS/CHAdeMO station.
Now that's what a CCS charging station location needs to look like for practical long distance travel charging (at least in the future when there's more than a few thousand Bolts on the road, that is). Minimum 4 chargers/plugs in one location in order to minimize average and maximum wait times and risks of one douche blocking everyone else. No more of this 1 plug per location crap.
I don't care how many
individual CCS chargers are in a metro area if they're all scattered around aimlessly and with only 1 or 2 plugs per location (especially when many are located at hotels, car dealerships, government buildings, or other impractical locations).
They need to be clustered near interstates in groups of 4-8+ to make route planning convenient and simple and minimize wait times. And preferably also near restaurants.
