STL has 15, but with HUGE holes between the nearest. That's why long distance travel is still a dream.

They're starting to pop up all over Denver. Colorado will reimburse businesses up to 80% of the cost to purchase and install L2 charging stations. My neighbor is an electrician and he told me over the weekend (besides offering to do the wiring for free for me) that his company is installing 2-3 240V 50A circuits a week right now.

Closest is 150 miles in Madison.
Ditto, zero public l3 outside 2 cities
In total 11 ccs in Wisconsin, most are slower and half aren't fully "public" either.

Only true public charging is at kwik trip and it's L1

No public ones outside Madison / Milwaukee, chademo and TSLA don't count
Nor does L2 nor does "car dealer" plugs since they aren't fully public.

...install L2 charging stations. ... installing 2-3 240V 50A circuits a week right now.
That's nice. But that is Volt stuff.
That's not what we're talking about here.
We've moved on to bigger and better things!:p

Syracuse NY has over 70 (Edit, Level 2, not CCS). Sadly, many are overpriced and/or in some state of broken. I suppose that's the unfortunate side effect of government incentives to build them... The incentive to keep them operational is lost.

They just put a new set of 3 DCFC chargers at a rest stop on the NYS Thruway too, but they only are Chademo ports! Unbelievable.

Man, that is short sighted. :(

In this day and age, any DCFC station should be a dual CCS/Chademo.
All 14 in KC are dual and they even have this sticker on them:

I should buy those guys a dozen donuts next time I go into a Nissan shop ! (never):p

It's par for the course with NY state. This rest area was built from scratch a couple years ago. Just 13 months after being built, they tear it up and renovate it, spending several million dollars more, and then include these DCFC stations that don't have CCS ports.

As a taxpayer it gets my blood boiling. ;)

My town has nothing, but then again, I wouldn't be surprised if my car's the only one that you can plug in. We're infested with Hondas that are one inch off the ground and have fart mufflers.

The greater Toronto area has about 40 CCS sites (several with multiple plugs) on plugshare.

My small town of 12000 people has one dual CCS/CHAdeMO station.

Now that's what a CCS charging station location needs to look like for practical long distance travel charging (at least in the future when there's more than a few thousand Bolts on the road, that is). Minimum 4 chargers/plugs in one location in order to minimize average and maximum wait times and risks of one douche blocking everyone else. No more of this 1 plug per location crap.

I don't care how many individual CCS chargers are in a metro area if they're all scattered around aimlessly and with only 1 or 2 plugs per location (especially when many are located at hotels, car dealerships, government buildings, or other impractical locations).

They need to be clustered near interstates in groups of 4-8+ to make route planning convenient and simple and minimize wait times. And preferably also near restaurants.

Our town just installed a dual CCS/CHAdeMO at the local library (https://api.plugshare.com/view/location/9420) to supplement some L2s that have been there for a long time. It was officially inaugurated about a week ago. Friend of mine on the City Council charged his i3 during the ceremony. The charging station had actually been powered up and put on plugshare a couple days earlier. My friend told me that the first day it was on-line, six people had used it.
